Louis Buhl & Co. is proud to announce a set of two offset photograph posters created by artist Jason REVOK. Each poster is hand-signed by the artist, and will be available to purchase on our website Friday, November 17th.
A self-taught artist with roots in graffiti, REVOK’s career has expanded over several decades to illuminate new possibilities in dialogue between process-driven art forms. He is known for pushing the creative and legal boundaries that began in the street. These photographs are a testament to REVOK’s evolution and practice as an artist. The first photograph showcases a REVOK piece painted on a railroad car, depicting his traditional letter-based style that he has become well known for. In contrast, the second photograph documents his latest "Instrument Exercise Frame Drag" mural, located in the East Village of Detroit.
Speaking to the project, REVOK says: "In the spirit of creating paintings in streets that are accessible for everyone to experience, I’m excited to offer my work in a more accessible form that represents what I do in the streets."
