Greetings is a portfolio suite of prints by Greg Bogin and his first collaboration with Louis Buhl & Co. Greetings features three silkscreen prints, presented in a custom clamshell box with black foil deboss on the cover, and a signed and numbered colophon page on archival vellum. All portfolios will include prints with matching numbers.
“I have for a long time been dreaming about a shaped die-cut print edition that relates directly to my drawings and paintings. While I have made shaped editions in the past, I have always wanted to do this on paper where the physicality of the white die-cut edge meets the printed surface. I am really excited that this dream project will be coming to fruition with my friends at Louis Buhl. My goal for the feeling of this project was basically happiness in a box. All the images relate and play with the idea of the sun rising and the ubiquitous smiley face, a sort of abstract distillation of both sentiments - happy but with some irony mixed in.” — Greg Bogin
