Greg Bogin
Greg Bogin is a Contemporary abstract painter who lives and works in New York. Bogin’s brightly colored abstract works follow a path of Minimalism, with balances of blank white space and bright color gradients. The artist also often creates custom-shaped canvases. Many of his works are large-scale multi media pieces that include sprayed automobile lacquer. His goal is to use techniques of modern graphics and advertising to create an 'in-your-face' impression on viewers. Bogin received his BFA from Cooper Union in New York in 1987. He has had solo exhibitions in several prestigious galleries, including Leo Koenig, Gambuzzi & Co, Jablonka Galerie, Mary Boone Gallery, and Galerie Bruno Bischofberger AG, among others.
